Hello people I'm back here just for a short post. It's been a long time since we played football together, but even if we play less football now, doesn't mean we have lost the passion for it! So here's a commercial about the Singapore team, they have gone further than many of us expected. So here's a reminder that Impossible Is Nothing, it's not only for football, but it can be for other aspects of your life, you just have to keep improving, keep working hard, and you will make it far.

Well done for the gathering match everyone! We played well and won a few matches most importantly we enjoyed ourselves playing Football! So now as I said the most important thing in Football is the passion. You have to enjoy what you're doing and have no regrets. So now people when you play football, go out there and enjoy yourself. That's what Football is about. To all plethora brothers,

please be informed that there will be a plethora gathering match for all of you!
basically,this is a match against chien yi's jc friends. It will be a consecutive 3 hours match with a total of 3 teams(including us) . Hence,please be mentally and physically prepared that day for the best performance. However,the main purpose is still to act as a gathering for everyone.

Here is the players for that day(formation to be confirmed):
Chien Yi,Azarel,Chin Seng,Gabriel,Vernon,Zhen Jun and Dylan(not confirm).

Date:17 march 2009
Time:10am-1pm
Place:Fico Sports Hub
Attire:blue/dark blue top,black shorts and white socks.

Last thursday, it was the plethorians so-called last/farewell match before everyone got separated.

The attendance was good besides only timo who can't make it. But it's okay,since i can sense the unwillingness and the lack of interest he had in this game. Moreover,as wad Dylan had said after the game, my brother can easily replace his position.

So we settled down wif our squad tt day which was made up of:

Gk-chienyi/vernon

Df-dylan/chienyi/vernon

Att-gabriel/chinseng/zhenjun

We went off with the game soon after i team talk abit,wif the first five being dylan,chienyi,me,gab and vernon.

The game was intense and cool although we look shaky at the starting part.

But soon,our man-of-the-match,dylan chan mali made a few tremendous tackles on the big and disgusting guy to snatch back the GOLDEN possesion for our team. All thanks to dylan,we finally settled down and played better! Finally the first goal for plethora as well as the game came,and its from me! haha. But,things did not went well for us for the next few moments as many of our shots were saved by the keeper and we conceded 5 goals in a row. Then,its dylan chan mali again! After making some tremendous block and defence work,we got back the possesion. This time,we formed an attack line wif dylan on the right,gab in the centre and me on the left. This attack line proved useful as the three of us bombarded them wif shots which terrorised their keeper. Soon,our hard work paid off as we scored in 4 goals in a row to bring the match to 5-5 before break. After the break,my bro came on and we started to dominate the game as our defence,with ferdinand vernon and sergio chienyi became uber solid! Besides that,vernon played very well in goal too,saving some real shots.(good job bro!) The game went on until some unhappiness sparked off between us and the bloody big guy(again). What i could say was he played extremely dirty out of a sudden. I think he is just being frustrated as he cannot pass dylan. So,he gave dylan a kick on his sheen when dylan is without the ball. haiz,no sportsmanship..Then i was slightly injured and went out to rest. This was when the game gets rolling! While i was just slacking around on the bench,the team really played their hearts out and we fought all the way from the back to a 10-9 win! I think our high morale,team chemistry and the thirst to win being stronger than our opponent was the reason why we won.

So overall our goal tally was gabriel-4goals,chinseng-4goals,dylan-1goal,zhenjun-1goal.

And last but not least,our rock hard solid defence combination of vernon and chienyi!

The Plethora farewell match ended, but that does not mean that Plethora is history from now on, we will still meet out to play soccer together, and all of us will still continue to improve and become better players. So I thereby wish everyone a very Happy Chinese New Year!!!!! Gong Xi Fa Cai!!!!! And may all of us play better football in the new year!

To all my dearest Plethora team mates,

As you all know,Plethora FC is going to be "disbanded" soon. This is because everyone will be separated different JCs or Polyand i doubt we will still have chances to meet up and play anymore. This is because 'A' levels and Diploma is very important and everyone confirm must study for it!! Although this is a very sad thing,but i still hope all my team mates will miss Plethora. Rest assured we can always still continue to play when we grow up!
However,this blog will not be deleted. Thus,all Plethorians can still feel free to visit this blog to post and tag in the future.

Back to the main topic,we will be having a soccer match against the once 'promiseland' this coming thursday. Here are the exact details,

The AC Milan captain

Since the one of the most important part of football is the defence, let's learn something from the AC Milan captain, Maldini, who is a great defender. Zidane said Maldini is good in defence because of three factors: He is fast in defending, he is firm, and he doesn't foul often.

When we defend this are the factor that we should keep in mind, and also not forgetting what Gallas taught us in his video to keep our men in defending and read the striker's game whether is he waiting for you to make the first move or he has other tricks for you. And also one of the most important thing is patience, and wait for the correct timing to get our tackles right.

New Year,New Formation,New Performance

Happy 2009 to all Plethorians!
As you all can see in the previous post, we have made some slight changes to our team's formation. I am here to confirm this change.
Our very own Chien Yi aka Casillas will not be a goalkeeper anymore. Instead,he will change his position to become a defender.
So to all fellow teammates,we will have a total of 3 defenders in our team in the future.
In addition,to those who know any friends who got strong potential of becoming a goalkeeper,we welcome them to join us.

Introducing the new defender...

Sorry Guys...Plethora now need to search desperately for a new goalkeeper. I told Captain Seng that i decided to take on the post of a defender and i am very eager to learn the art of defence as well as how to use my body strength. I realised that being a goalkeeper is rather a boring and painful job. Goalkeepers have to stay alert and focused all the time and even to use all means to prevent the ball from going through the net. Now i will be training everyday guys and together with vernon,i am sure that we could come up with a strong defence line...looks like we have to search for a new keeper...

Anyway..i am back from the country you all simply hate to the core,CHINA! haha..

It's previously named as the (ASEAN Football Championship), and Singapore have been the champions for the last two competitions, so support Singapore this friday in the match Singapore vs Cambodia, at 5.55pm on Channel 5, and there's another match on Sunday, 7th of December, Singapore vs Myanmar, at 5.55pm on Channel. yeah , hellooooo!!!!
As we all know , it has been a while since we played together and I can't wait to play together as a team . BUT we have to wait for that stupid Chin Seng which is also our captain to come back from Shang Hai. Whats so nice about that place , everything are in chinese!!!

And yeah , we do not have much choice but to wait for chin seng to return.
I would like to organize BOWLING for all of us . Perhaps when that 'HIGHER MOTHER TONGUE' guy come back( if the plane didn't crash, or we will have a toddler as our captain) .

If we wanna train, we can also play at LimBang street soccer court or Lam Soon street soccer court .

Thanks to Chin Seng, he made us all look so ugly by putting photos of each of us taken at random times(except for Chien Yi's photo which looks good). Haha, but at least he made the effort la. And people of Plethora, two of our members are going overseas over this two weeks. Gabriel is going to Myammar for his mission trip organised by his church while Chin seng is going to Shang Hai, where he will have the pleasure of being surrounded by China people during his exchange programme.

They will be back in Singapore by 27th of November and 6th of December respectively, so Plethora thereby wish both of them Bon Voyage and take care.

When they are back in Singapore, would anyway like to have soccer matches as a club, I thought we had matches against the Kranji 2007 Sec 5s, and people from Pioneer JC? Can we have at least one match?

And before I end this post, there is a very important reminder that we must tell Chin Seng, which is to remember not to drink milk in China. Hahahahahahahaha!
